Description

The Seadraulics Class 4 to 5 Multiplier is simpler, lighter and a more cost effective solution than hydraulically actuated Class 5 torque tool.
The Torque Adaptor is designed to use the torque output from an API 17D class 4 torque tool to achieve class 5 torque levels. The adaptor has a class 4 torque receptacle on the input and a class 5 output.

The Class 4 to 5 Multiplier can be used horizontally or vertically. If used horizontally, the latches can be used to secure the adaptor to the class 5 interface. If using the torque adaptor is used vertically, the latches may not be required.

DEPLOYMENT OPTIONS

• Pre-deployed on deck into a class 5 receptacle and left in a latched condition for later operation using a class 4 torque tool
• In a basket to seabed
• Using a FLOT equipped with a class 4 torque tool
