The Seadraulics ROV Docking Probes are used to latch ROV’s to an ISO 13628-8 interface.
The Docking Probe has a positive spring return latching system ensuring latching fingers retract & release once hydraulic pressure is relieved from the system
Seadraulics’ Docking Probe (HD) has a shear pin that is set to 8000Kg. More than capable of withstanding the full thrust load of all work class ROV’s.
The latch fingers pivot on shear pins and pull the latch hard into the docking receptacle. An internal spring enables the latches to return to their closed position on loss of hydraulics.
